The Ford Mustang for the 2022 model year is completely redesigned and features an aggressive new look inspired by the original Mustang Fastback. The new grille is dominated by a large, elliptical opening flanked by slim, horizontal headlamps. The lower fascia is finished with a splitter extending the car's entire width.
The rear end features a wide stance with slim, horizontal tail lamps that wrap around the car's sides. The rear spoiler is integrated into the decklid, and there is a diffuser with dual exhaust tips. The Ford Mustang rides on 19-inch or 20-inch wheels and is available in 11 different exterior colors, including two new shades: Mach 1 Orange and Baja Orange.
The roof is available in either body color or glass panels. The doors are frameless, and the liftgate mirrors have been moved to the A-pillars for a cleaner look.
