Ford's Sport Off-Road Package offers a number of performance and handling upgrades that make the Bronco more suited for off-road driving. The package includes:
1.) A tailgate spare tire mount. This gives the Bronco a classic "Go-Anywhere" look that harkens back to earlier generations of the vehicle.
2.) Increased ground clearance, larger approach and departure angles, increased suspension travel, and skid plates. The rear axle is moved forward one inch to provide more excellent stability off the road.
3.) The "Off-Road" package is available on four-wheel drive models only.
4.) Unique front and rear fascias with off-road fog lamps. This help sees the vehicle's surroundings during nighttime driving, at dawn or dusk, in inclement weather, or whenever extra visibility would be helpful.
5.) Unique 17" aluminum wheels with 35" all-terrain tires. This gives the vehicle a solid off-road look that isn't too big or cumbersome.
6.) A unique leather-wrapped steering wheel features thumb-tip cruise control switches, compass and outside temperature readings taken from the remote entry key fob.
